Prayer for Effective Living, Wednesday, 8.11.21

 

As I consider our national disconnect from one another,
I find myself saddened by the polarization.
Today, I think of Rumi who said:
“Out beyond right and wrong, there is a field. I will meet you there.”
Maybe this is a cliché, but today, it feels right –
today, I step out to that metaphorical field of Love.
I step out in Love asking Light to direct my actions.
Thank you, dearest Divinity, for Your Love, Your Light,
and Your Guidance. Amen.
