Resonant Awakening with Rae Dileo and Sharon Gerber

There are moments when music becomes more than sound—when it transforms into a doorway, a memory, a sacred landscape waiting to be explored. The Light Center invites you into one such experience with two extraordinary artists whose lifetimes have been devoted to the art of listening beyond the surface of things.
Grammy-winning producer and platinum-selling recording engineer Rae DiLeo has journeyed through the evolution of modern music itself, from the birth of hip-hop alongside many legends and through the alternative rock movement of the 1990s with artists including Billy Idol and Henry Rollins, ultimately arriving at a deeper calling: using sound as a vehicle for healing, reflection, and transformation. Through Spanish classical guitar, native flute, and organic instrumentation, Rae creates immersive sonic journeys that invite listeners beyond thought and into the quiet center of their own being.
Joining him is acclaimed cellist and composer Sharon Gerber, creator of Celloasis, whose music offers a sanctuary of stillness in an increasingly noisy world. Performing on a cherished 19th-century cello passed down from her father, Sharon weaves together original compositions, contemplative arrangements, and ambient textures that seem to suspend time itself.
Together, Rae and Sharon create an unforgettable tapestry of sound—earth and sky, movement and stillness, memory and presence—guiding participants into an experience that is part concert, part meditation, and part sacred journey.
Beneath the geodesic architecture of the Light Center dome, this promises to be more than a performance; it is an invitation to enter an oasis of beauty, peace, and profound inner connection.
