Peace: Opening the Portal
We invite you to join us May 3 through May 20 as we feature events and celebrations during the powerful portal of spring awakening and the infusion of divine feminine at this sacred time on the planet.
Activities include guided meditations, group prayer sessions, workshops on conscious intention, inspirational music and opportunities for community sharing. We open our doors for a time of prayer, meditation, conscious intention and reflection to usher in the portal of peace. We invite our community to contribute to this celebration. You will have opportunity to revitalize, to uplift and ascend on the Light Center’s sacred grounds to explore the inner consciousness of channeling the Divine.
Highlight of Events:
Friday, May 8, 7 pm through Sunday May 10, 9 am, Prayer Vigil (with opening group prayer and setting up prayer shifts)
Prayer and meditation help to anchor the Light and to illuminate our paths to peace for us and the world. This time will feature themes of prayer and meditation for revelations of energies needed to establish peace in one’s heart and the world.
Mother’s Day at the Light Center, Sunday,May 10
Mother Day’s Brunch, 10am-12 pm. Bring a healthy dish to the Light Center Lodge to serve healthy food for a table prepared for compassion and community.
Awakening the Divine Feminine, 1 – 3 p.m. This workshop will explore the spiritual concept of the divine feminine which embraces the sacred, creative and life-giving energy in all of us, gender neutral. Its qualities are compassion, intuition, creativity and emotional intelligence. We will explore divine feminine archetypes to focus on inner life and connection to balance both energies to support holistic growth and its role in awakening peace at home and in the world.
Friday, May 15, 6-8 pm. Musical Jam session, . This will be a traditional music gathering of tunes and songs. Dust off your music case and rosin your bow. All instruments and levels are welcome.
Saturday, May 16, 10 am-12 p.m at the dome. Light Immersion: Tools & Teachings, This workshop will feature Effective Prayer and beyond. 7pm-9pm World Prayers
Sunday, May 17, 10 am-12 pm, Prayers for Healing
Ongoing Prayer and Meditation-During this time Light Center guests will focus intention and prayers. All are welcome to explore paths of peace in our world.
