Group Prayer on Zoom facilitated by Tully Moss

We live in a world of dreams.  But that’s not how we behave.  We behave as if the physical world is solid reality.

When we go into deep meditation, we have a knowing that this is not the case.  We have a knowing that this physical world is an illusion.  We have a knowing that the universe in which we live merely shines with God’s reflected Light.  We have a knowing that everything in that universe is consciousness, purity, and joy.

Once we enter that consciousness, the sense of separation dissolves.  The sense of me and everything else dissolves.  The sense of subject and object dissolves.  Our me-obsessed world dissolves.  We abandon individuality for universality.  In that universality, there is nothing apart or distinct from God.  We see God everywhere, under all circumstances, with the eye of Spirit and with a tranquil heart.  We are one with the Divine – infinite, pure, eternal, at peace forever.

If you would like a prayer to go more deeply into this consciousness, you might try this: “O Lord, you dwell within.  You are the Light of the heart.  This Light in my heart shines throughout my being.  This Light in my heart shines for the good of all.  This Light in my heart is the same Light that is in all that exists.  This Light in my heart is one with the Light of the universe.  The Light in my heart and the Light in the universe and Thy Light are all one and the same.  In this oneness is ever-expanding Joy.  This, Thy Joy, permeates all creation.  Thank you, Lord, creating me to experience this Joy and for merging me back into Thy Light, Love, Joy, and Peace.  Amen.”
