Dear Light Group,

Beirut, Istanbul, Jakarta, Karachi, Paris. What do these cities have in common? They have been the scenes of recent terrorist acts by Islamic militants. Four out of those five cities are in predominately Muslim countries. The events that occurred in these five cities represent just a few of the hundreds of terrorist acts that occurred in 2015. Although terrorist acts in places such as Paris, France and San Bernardino, California received much attention from the press, the great majority of terrorist acts in 2015 occurred in countries where the majority of the population is Muslim.

Two common reactions to acts of terrorism are condemnation and fear. Jim Goure offered a different perspective: “What does killing…say? It says, ‘I’m afraid.’ And it says, ‘I want to be loved. If I’m loved, I won’t invade, because there is nothing to fear if I’m loved.'”

Jim went on to say, “The war consciousness pervades the planet. We, man, have implanted this war consciousness in all of the kingdoms. It has been implanted by people who have not been educated about their responsibilities or about the fact that they are creators. These people must be taken into consideration because the whole peace process must begin with the individual. This war consciousness keeps man in a retarded condition. It is a tremendous pollution that pervades the very structure of Earth.”

But Jim said there was hope: “We can change all of this….We can replace the war consciousness with Peace, Light, and Love. We can create Peace within our genes and within our innermost selves.”

Jim’s suggestions–and these will be mine for this Saturday’s prayer–were:

The Creator in me creates Light, Love, and Peace throughout my being.
The Creator in me replaces the war consciousness throughout my being with Peace.
The Creator in me replaces the war consciousness around planet Earth and in all peoples of the Earth with Peace.
The Creator in me creates Peace in every atom, every cell, every gene, and every kingdom that exists on planet Earth.

And I would add a few more:

The Creator creates Peace in the Islamic world.
The Creator creates Peace in the Jewish world.
The Creator creates Peace in the Christian world.
The Creator creates Peace in the Hindu world.
The Creator creates Peace in all religions.

Let us contribute to the healing that Earth needs. Let us be the Peace that the people of Earth crave.

Love and Light,
Tully
