Dear Light Group,

The terrorist attacks in Paris, Mali, and Lebanon have created much hurt. The attackers themselves are a hurting, angry people.

We have an antidote for this pain, this hurt, this anger. That antidote is Divine Love, of which we have an unending abundance.

The attackers are seeking to be loved–in ways that are not civilized, to say the least. But if we are to take our Christian commandments seriously, then we must return hatred with love.┬áJesus said, “If any man sue thee at the law and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also” and “Resist not evil. Whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” We are now being challenged to live these commandments.

Let us use the recent acts of terrorism to live our faith. We can do that through prayer. Here are some prayers you might want to consider using:
  • Thank you, God, for the presence of Thy Love in me, in everyone, and in everything.
  • Thank you, God, for the expansion of this, Thy Love, in everyone and everything.
  • Thank you, God, for filling and surrounding with Light all those killed in the recent terrorist attacks.
  • Thank you, God, for filling and surrounding with Light all those wounded in the recent terrorist attacks.
  • Thank you, God, for filling and surrounding with Light and Love all of the friends and family members of those killed or wounded in the terrorist attacks.
  • Thank you, God, for filling all of the terrorists with Thy Love, that they may come to know Thee and Thy ways.
  • Thank you, God, for filling planet Earth with Thy Peace, that this planet may advance in the Light.
Thank you for your prayers for planet Earth and its people.  Thank you for being the Light of the world.
Love and Light,
Tully
