Dear Light Group,

I returned to the Philippines last Sunday, only hours before flights to and from Manila’s airport were suspended due to ash and other debris from the Taal Volcano eruption. That eruption led to the immediate evacuation of tens of thousand of people, and over half a million people in the vicinity of the volcano have been told to leave their homes and travel to relief centers. Many of these people are poor, and a good number of them have lost virtually all of their physical possessions.

Although volcanic activity has lessened considerably over the last few days, the Philippine government has warned of the potential for an explosive eruption. If that were to occur, millions of people would be affected: the volcano is only 40 miles from Metro Manila, one of the most heavily populated areas on Earth. Ash from the modest eruption that occurred a few days ago fell on Manila, and a larger explosion would bring massive health and safety issues.

You prayers for this situation would be appreciated.

A suggested prayer would be: “The Creator fills the Taal Volcano with Light. The Taal Volcano is filled and surrounded with Light. The magma of the Taal Volcano is filled and surrounded with Light. The tectonic plates beneath the Philippines are filled and surrounded with Light. The people in the vicinity of the Taal Volcano are filled and surrounded by Light. Relief agencies helping these people are filled and surrounded with Light. The Philippine government is filled and surrounded with Light. The people of Metro Manila are filled and surrounded with Light. The Philippines is filled and surrounded with Light. Only Light can come to the Philippine Islands and only Light be there. Only Light can come to the people of the Philippines and only Light be there. Thank you, God, for making it so. Amen.”

Love and Light,
Tully
