Toning and Drumming Our Prayers with Yvonne “Rainbow” Teplitsky and Janice Doochin

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of gentle drumming and vocal toning, where rhythm and simple sounds come together to inspire and awaken peace and empowerment within.  Outside near the labyrinth.

This workshop is led by two passionate facilitators:

Janice Doochin, a Native American woman bringing the deep, sacred traditions of her heritage.

Yvonne Rainbow Jensen Teplitsky, a Scandinavian woman, weaving in the resonant vocal tones of northern traditions.

Together, they’ll guide you through an experience blending these rich cultural threads into a powerful yet gentle journey of harmony and group connection.

 Janice will be guiding a gentle beat for all to follow.  And we’ll explore toning, a simple yet profound ancient vocal practice, and dive into the gentle heartbeat of the frame drums, creating a space for healing, creativity, and community.

Whether you’re new to drumming or a seasoned rhythm-maker, this workshop welcomes all. Bring your curiosity, an open heart, and if you have one, your own small frame drum. We’ll have a few drums to lend.

We have chairs, but feel free to bring your own. In case of rain, we’ll be inside.
