Rebirth & Renewal in the Mountains of North Carolina & Tennessee – Special Prayer on Zoom
Please join us for the second of two special group prayers on Zoom, facilitated by Jackie Boyce and Tully Moss. This session runs from 10 a.m. to Noon, and 2 to 4 p.m. EST
Hurricane Helene turned into a tropical cyclone that caused massive destruction and a number of fatalities. This was particularly the case in western North Carolina (where the Light Center is located) and in eastern Tennessee. Entire communities, such as Bat Cave and Lake Lure, were virtually wiped out. Although the Light Center was not harmed, Route 9, the road leading to the Light Center, was (and remains) heavily damaged. This led to the cancellation of the October Advance at the Light Center.
This Rebirth and Renewal prayer session is an opportunity for us to lend our prayers to those affected by Hurricane Helene, helping them to move from destruction, despair, and loss to renewal and hope. It is also an opportunity for us to strengthen the sense of community and mutual support that has been on display in the affected areas and to pray for the creation of a Divine community that will help people transcend their losses and create a new, divinely-inspired world.
